Billson - How to Unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower

Once you reach the tower, you can talk to the maintenance person named Billson at the entrance. They will say that they couldn’t open the door for some reason and they will need some mushrooms to eat to get the energy to open it. However, this is actually not the solution, but it helps to know where to go to fix it.

Sahasra Slope Cave – How to Unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower

Billson will tell you to go to the cave under the tower. The entrance to the cave is in 1326, -1155, 0138. You will need a lot of bomb flowers or a hammer, as the cave is full of rocks.

If you follow a straight path into the cave, you’ll end up in an open cave that has three Horriblins; if you’ve gotten to this part, you’ve gone a bit too far. Take the time to clear this cave, then go back halfway to the entrance again and start breaking the rocks to your left. Just a few hits from where you started, it breaks through the rocks to your right to reveal a smaller cave.

Inside this smaller cave is a small rock that will reveal a passage to another smaller cave that has minerals that you can break. Go back to the first small cave and look up to see a circular rock on the ceiling. Use Ascend under this rock and you will be transported inside the tower.

To finally unlock the tower, all you need to do is pick up the two sticks that have been closing the doors. You can then open the door to let Billson in and fix the tower. Then interact with the terminal to perform a topographic scan and update your Purah Pad with the map of the region.

If you want to explore the cave with the Horriblins, the chest that can be found in their cave contains a Mind’s Eye Shield.

Once you’re done with the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you’ll be one step closer to unlocking all 15 Skyview Towers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can check out our other Skyview Tower guides to unlock more visible regions of the Purah Pad map:
