Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Producer Offers New Tips for Beginners

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom executive shares some interesting tips for beginners playing the game for the first time.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is set to be released worldwide soon and fans are already scrambling to get their hands on a copy before anyone else. After earning high review scores from critics, who wouldn’t? However, for players who are trying it for the first time, producer Eiji Aonuma shared a tip so that everyone can enjoy the game to the fullest.

Aonuma revealed that he already cleared the game 20 times and after that, he came to one conclusion: “don’t go straight to the end.”

The producer revealed that shooting through the story would only shorten the game, which meant that fans would not be able to enjoy the game as it is supposed to. He says taking detours is even more fun this time.

“I have played this game from start to finish about 20 times, and I can say that it is more fun with the diversions, even more than in the previous game,” he said in a recent interview. “When testing the game, I sometimes needed to rush to clear the story, but later on, when I started going off the beaten track, I realized…it’s a completely different game!”

“Even putting things together, there are so many different combinations that even I don’t know them all,” he continued. “I even discovered something new the other day while filming the game demo video. So it may take some time, but as you take detours and try everything you can at the time, I think you’ll be able to enjoy the game in your own way.”

What Aonuma is trying to say is that you should get distracted and not follow the straight path. Try the side quest or explore new regions before tackling the main story. Will be worth.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom launches May 12, 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
