Where to get Ice Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Currently, there is only one way to obtain Ice Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and that is to find them in the wild, specifically found around the snowy mountainous region of Glaze to the north.
Unlike the other evolution stones, they cannot be purchased in shops or at auction.
We’re not sure if this is because they replace Icy Rock from previous games (geographical locations that allow you to evolve Pokémon into their icy evolutions) or if it’s something that will be fixed in future updates. For now though, we all need to scour the slopes of Frosting Mountain in search of glitter! No, not Shiny Pokémon, but Shiny Items.
The only way to know if it’s the item you’re looking for is to click on it. If you’re lucky, these shiny items could be Ice Stones; but they could just as well be Ethers, Pokéballs, or any other random item that fits into this category.
Our advice while patrolling the peaks is simple: Avoid the temptation to slide from A to B and take the long way around: line up Beedrill for any glow you see and hope for the best. After about half an hour of searching, we found two of them, so while they are not very common, they are not extremely rare either.
Good luck finding your Ice Stones!
