There is a section in High On Life where Douglas G3 forces players to wait for an hour as part of the recruitment process. With all the crazy things the game has to offer when it comes to player interaction, it’s not far-fetched to think that something will happen after an hour of waiting.

As you enter the G3 orientation room, Douglas will appear on the big screen and tell you to wait an hour to find out what the next workout is. You don’t really have to wait an hour to progress through the story because there’s a hole on the right wall that leads to pipes and Dr. Juppy.

What happens after an hour?

If you want to wait an hour you are free to do so. Aside from the little things your arms will do while you wait, Douglas will check in on you every 15 minutes. Once the hour is up, Douglas will then raise the screen to reveal the next path, but it’s stuck. Douglas will appear on the screen again saying that he will call someone to fix the screen and that you will have to wait a week before the screen is fixed.

As of now, we have yet to see what will happen if we actually wait a week, but if you defeat Douglas and re-examine the location, you will find that the screen has been fixed and lifted. Yes, it shows what is behind it. It turned out to be just an empty room with no hallway and no doors leading anywhere. Even waiting a full hour is no mean feat.

So if you really want to know what Douglas himself has to say without waiting an hour, you can check out. Monogames92Video of the entire scene:
