The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Pokédex is larger than most games, with exactly 400 entries required to complete. But doing it is not easy. You’ll even need to trade with trainers who have a copy of the other version of the game you own to get the exclusives. However, after all the hard work, surely there must be something at the end?

Rewards for completing the Pokédex of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

When you complete your Pokédex, you get two things: a beast ball and a shiny charm. She talks to Jacq, the biology teacher, after doing so. The director will also come to congratulate you and give you a special certificate for completing the Pokédex.

The Beast Ball has no special effects. It was used to capture Ultra Beasts in Sun Moon, but here it’s more of a trophy than anything else.

However, Shiny Charm will increase your shiny encounter rates from 1/4096 to 1/1365, making shiny Pokémon much easier to find. If you make sandwiches with Sparkling Power, the odds are even higher.
