This isn’t a run-and-gun type of weapon, however, nor does it have enough range to be one you’ll want to take down sniper lines. However, what she lacks in short and long-range effectiveness, she makes up for in strong mid-range combat, and as such, she’s a solid choice for her time in Warzone 2.0.

How to Unlock FTAC Recon in Warzone 2.0

To access FTAC Recon, you need to level the M4 up to level 13.

It is one of the easiest battle rifles to unlock in the game compared to the others on offer.

After that, all you need to do is use and level up the FTAC Recon, and any other weapons you want to unlock attachments for, and you will also be able to unlock another weapon, the FSS Hurricane.

Warzone 2.0 FTAC Recon better loading and attachments

Here are the best Warzone 2.0 FTAC Recon loadouts and attachments:

  • rear grip: CP90 Grip Support (Unlocks at FTAC Recon Lv. 15)
  • Barrel: Bull Rider 16.5” (Unlocks at FTAC Recon Lv. 22) / 419MM EXF Barrel (Unlocks at FTAC Recon Lv. 6)
  • under barrel: VX Pinapple (Unlocks at 556 Icarus Lv. 14)
  • Optical: HMW-20 Optic (Unlocks at Lachmann-762 Lv. 2)
  • Values: Precision Elite Factory Demo (Unlocks at 556 Icarus Lv. 8)

This list of attachments focuses on improving the FTAC Recon’s ability to hit enemies at medium and long ranges.

While this is a great all round battle rifle, it shines its brightest when finding a good position and hunting down enemies from afar.

the CP90 support the rear grip will give the rifle more aiming stability and recoil resistance, although it does reduce weapon mobility and handling stats, but overall stability and recoil resistance are much more important considering playstyle what we are thinking of.

For the barrel groove, run the Bull Rider 16.5” it is the best option due to its increased recoil control, damage range, and bullet speed, all useful for consecutive shots and consistent accuracy.

Since it takes some time to unlock this particular attachment, one alternative you could use until then is the 419mm EXF Barrel, which is unlocked by leveling the FTAC Recon to level 6.

In terms of what to choose for the underbarrel slot, the Pineapple VX grip works great as it increases the accuracy and recoil control stats of the rifle.

Next, we move on to the key attachment that will actually make this whole build work: the HMW-20 Optics is critical for this loadout to work as it will grant an 8.0x magnified view which will be exactly what you need to attack from medium to long ranges.

Alternatively, if you prefer something closer, a standard red dot sight or the Hybrid Firepoint, which allows you to toggle between 4.3x magnification and a standard reflex sight, are also great options.

As for the final attachment of the FTAC Recon, while the weapon has very few options for the original slot, the Demo Precision Elite Factory stock is what we recommend for this load to work, largely thanks to its recoil control improvements.

Warzone 2.0 FTAC Recon Best in Class Build Including Perk Pack and Gear

Our picks for the best Warzone 2.0 FTAC Recon team and side pack are:

  • Advantage Package: Weapons Specialist (Unlocks at level 1)
  • Secondary: Lachmann Sub AKA MP5 (Unlocks at Lachmann-556 Lv. 12)
  • Tactical: Shock Stick (Unlocks at Lv. 1)
  • Lethal: C4 (Unlocks at level 23) / Claymore (Unlocks at level 25)

For this particular load, we go with the weapons specialist perk pack that includes the following four perks: Overkill, Strong Arm, Spotter, and Survivor.

The FTAC Recon’s place in this build is obviously as a semi-auto rifle, though it can switch to full auto at any time, which isn’t really going to serve much of a purpose at close range. With that in mind, we’re going with a backup option.

Thanks to the ability to carry a primary in the secondary slot provided by the exaggerate advantage, we recommend that you take the Lachmann Sub, commonly known, as the MP5.

While the MP5 takes a bit of work to unlock through the Lachmann and Meer Platform, the VEL 46, unlocked early on, or the FSS Hurricane, available once you level the FTAC Recon to 12, are solid alternatives to help you out. until you unlock MP5, or if you just prefer one of those two in general.

As for the second advantage, Strong arm will allow the team to throw further by providing a displayed arc of the trajectory of each throw; this perk won’t raise this class at all, but it’s a nice perk.

As for the third advantage, Observer – will allow you to see enemy equipment and field upgrades through walls. ADS-ing will single them out for your team, and you’ll be able to hack them to turn gear, like Claymores, Proximity Mines, C4, and Trophy Systems, against the enemy.

When it comes to the fourth and last benefit, you will get Survivor as part of this perk pack, which causes any enemy that takes you down to call out to your teammates, letting them know where the enemy is; Furthermore, this buff will allow you to be revived faster by your teammates.

We chose this perk pack because it’s the only one with Overkill available; if you prefer, the Recon, Scout, or Sentinel perk packs may be more suitable for you, each with their own survivability and stealth increases.

As for the lethal grenade to choose from, we recommend going with either C4, Claymore or the proximity mine – the last one is mainly to help you out until you unlock the Claymore, as this will provide an effective backup when you sit in one place. Remember that you can always choose the Claymore or Proxy Mine backup if you switch positions.

As the final aspect of this loadout, you’ll want to take a Flash Grenade or Shock Stick for his tactical grenade, the first if he’s moving around a bit more, and the second if he wants to lean more into a teammate monitoring support role, along with C4, gives him a bit of firepower to use against anyone using vehicles while in Al Mazrah.
