Warner Bros. Games recently Announced that the Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch version is being delayed.
After several delays, Hogwarts Legacy is planned for release on July 25, 2023. It looks like another delay will be added to the list as it will now be pushed back to November 14, 2023.
“We know fans expect to play on Switch, so creating the best experience possible is our top priority. Thank you for your patience,” the company said on the game’s official Twitter account.
Portkey Games didn’t reveal the specific issues they faced in delaying the Switch version, but it looks like it’s not ready yet. There could be a few more issues that need to be fixed as this is a game that will port over to the Nintendo Switch, which is on the same generation as the PS4 and Xbox One with slightly lower specs.
After several games with bad PC ports recently appeared, it seems that the developers are not risking very negative feedback from critics for releasing a bad port. Better safe than sorry.
Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
