Are we finally getting confirmation that our final part 3 is happening? The co-president of Naughty Dog seems to be pointing this out.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, series director and co-writer Neil Druckman hinted at plans for The Last of Us Part 3. “I think there’s more to the story,” he specifically replied when asked about confirming a TLOU Part 3.
Druckmann’s latest comments come from an interview with The Hollywood Reporter focused more on the upcoming TV adaptation of The Last of Us. This upcoming series will premiere in a few days later this month.
The first season will cover the events of the original The Last of Us while the second season was hinted to cover The Last of Us Part 2. He didn’t officially confirm the second part, but the hint was pretty clear. He also clarified that he does not intend to tell stories other than adapting the games.
