Prime Video Boys shared new photos from the set of season 3 with some of the stars of the show flaunting the middle finger.
Shared on the series’ official Twitter, the photos show Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid) and Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) posing in the tube containing Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy. Both Butcher and MM are turning the camera on the bird. While it’s unclear when these photos were taken during season 3 filming, Soldier Boy made his debut on Boys during season 3, episode 4, “Glorious Five Year Plan”.
These behind-the-scenes photos continue a steady trend for the cast of Boys Giving the camera the middle finger. Production on Season 4 began in August, and both Quaid and Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight/Annie January, shared photos of them giving the finger as they headed back to work.

Boys Season 4 is currently filming in Toronto, and recent feedback from the cast and crew indicates that the upcoming season will be at least as impactful as the last. Jessie T. Usher, who plays Reggie Franklin/A-Train, confirmed this in a recent interview and insisted that fans won’t see what comes next. “I can’t tell if it’s more or less [violent than Season 4]. What I can say is that it is amazing. It’s amazing,” Usher said. “It is amazing for everyone. This is all I can say!”
As for Soldier Boy, Ackles officially joined the cast in season 3 to play Vought’s first superhero, who is meant to be a parody of Captain America. While Soldier Boy has not been officially confirmed for season 4 of BoysAckles stated in January that “the door is not closed” for his character, and there is a possibility that Soldier Boy will return for the next installment.
New additions to the cast in season 4 include the introduction of two new superheroes, Firecracker and Sage, played by Valorie Curry and Susan Heyward, respectively. The Walking Dead‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan has also signed on to play an undisclosed role in the fourth season, potentially reuniting him with his Supernatural co-star, Ackles. morgan held join Boys‘ tweeting an edited version of the season 1 poster with his own image added along with that of Urban, Quaid and several of the show’s other stars.
However, the identity of Morgan’s character is just one of several surprises in store for fans when the show finally returns. According to executive producer Seth Rogen, some new twists and turns are on the way for the series based on what he has seen during production. “I couldn’t be more shocked by what they’re doing there, they find a way to shock me even more,” he said.
Boys Seasons 1-3 are currently streaming on Prime Video. Season 4 does not have a release date yet.
