The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) has rated Stray for Xbox One and Xbox Series. Stray has been rated E for Everyone by the ESRB as the game features animated blood and fantasy violence. The ratings suggest Stray might be coming to Xbox soon as the game is currently only available to play on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Stray is a single-player adventure game developed by BlueTwelve Studios and published by Annapurna Interactive. The game was first released on July 19, 2022. Right after its release, Stray quickly went on to become a fan favorite and the highest-rated game of 2022. Furthermore, Stray won the Best Independent Game and Best Debut Indie Game awards and was nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2022.
The game follows the story of a stray cat in a cyberpunk city populated by robots and machines. This mysterious city is full of dangers that the cat has never seen or experienced before. Fortunately, the cat is later joined by a friendly drone companion known as B-12. Now, the drone and the cat must take on a memorable journey together to escape the confines of the walled city.
The third-person cat adventure game allows the player to experience the world through the eyes of a cat. The player has to be creative, stealthy, and cheeky, just like a cat, to traverse through rooftops and alleyways as they solve challenges posed by the mysterious cyberpunk city.
