Bethesda recently announced that Starfield has reached a new player count milestone after reaching a certain number a few weeks ago.
According to a recent publication on the official site Bethesda Twitter account, Starfield has reached more than 10 million players in less than three weeks. On September 7, 2023, it already reached six million players and became the largest launch in Bethesda history.
The popular sci-fi role-playing game is available for PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles, and was on GamePass on day one. This could have contributed to the current number of players, as many Xbox fans subscribe to the service to save and try games before making the full purchase.
Sales for Starfield have not yet been announced, but the number of concurrent players on Steam was revealed a few days ago. The player count 10 days ago was 330,723 on Steam and currently stands at 27.th place on Steam’s all-time list. It has already surpassed Skyrim, which is currently in 31st place.street range.
Due to its huge popularity, Starfield will continue to gain more players in the coming months, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the current number doubles later on.
