Star Wars Jedi Survivor is doing much better than expected, EA claims

EA stated that Star Wars Jedi Survivor has far exceeded their expectations and is doing well.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson recently spoke during the company’s fiscal 2023 fourth quarter earnings call (via windows center) revealing his comments on Star Wars Jedi Survivor. He comments that he is already doing well, stating that now he has millions of players and that he has a very strong pace. It has exceeded EA’s expectations and has far exceeded its predecessor, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.

One year after its November 2019 release, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order reached 10 million players in May 2020. In June 2021, that number had doubled to 20 million players.

EA didn’t mention player count for Star Wars Jedi Survivor, but Wilson hinted that it’s now surpassed its predecessor’s numbers, so it could already be beyond that. And this is just a few months after launch.

The console versions are doing pretty well with more patches, but the PC version still has issues. Despite those issues, the game is running pretty well, that is if EA’s statement is to be believed.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
