Electronic Arts’ upcoming video game, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, has just received a rating on a popular American rating site just before release.
The Official American Entertainment Software Rating Board o ESRB has now revealed his entry for the upcoming Star Wars Jedi Survivor video game and rated it. According to the website, the upcoming sequel has been rated T for Teen.
The entry states that it will have mild language and violence, which is true as it was evident in the new trailer and in the original game. The rating summary actually outlines much of the violent scenes that could occur in the game, such as using the lightsaber to slash and rip apart alien creatures, droids, and humanoid enemies.
Check out the full rating summary below:
This is an action-adventure game in which players take on the role of an outlaw Jedi on the run from the galactic Empire. From a third-person perspective, players explore alien planets while using their Jedi powers to traverse environments and fight enemies in close combat. Players use lightsabers to slice and tear apart alien creatures, droids, and humanoid enemies. Combat is fast-paced, with screams of pain, impact sounds, and huge explosions. Some sequences show characters being pierced through the chest. The words “ass” and “bastard” are heard in the game.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order mainly has various violent scenes, as the main character uses a lightsaber in battles, so it makes sense for players to see some disturbing scenes. The sequel is expected to have more violent scenes as well.
At least fans have been warned ahead of time.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor launches on March 17, 2023. It will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
