Star Wars Jedi Survivor Fan improves frame rate with a new mod

After seeing a particular problem on Star Wars Jedi Survivor PC, a fan decides to create a mod to significantly improve the FPS of the game.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is plagued with several issues that have disappointed PC gamers upon the release of the game. One problem, in particular, is the game’s frame rate, which would drop to 30-40fps and not the promised 60fps. YouTuber PureDark they took matters into their own hands and created the perfect tool to improve this and actually DOUBLE the frame rate just by upgrading with DLSS.

PureDark released a short gameplay video that revealed the game’s frame rate, which is 40fps at best. They then open a menu and turn on DLSS Frame Generation, a tool used for scaling. Please note that this is not available by default in the game which requires a mod installation. Immediately, the frame rate improves to 90fps and above, resulting in much smoother performance.

While this is a great mod to use, it seems PureDark is unsure if they will release this mod as it is for show only. They might release it later as this is quite a useful feature.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
