12. Spider Rush Tornado

Kind of Information
The skill tree Peter Parker
Skill type Aggressive

Spider-Rush is one of Spider’s new abilities for Peter, which works similar to Miles’ Electric Venom powers. I had to pick this up immediately because I’m playing the game on fantastic (hard) difficulty, Where enemies can easily surround me due to their aggressiveness.

Not only does Spider Rush let you charge at an enemy like a cannon, but the Tornado skill will add an extension that will pull any nearby enemies during the attack move, making it easier on mobs while playing as Peter. Will make a fantastic skill for controlling situations.

11. Spider Shock

Spider-Shock is a skill that many people will have early on in Spider-Man 2, but even if you have it, you’ll definitely want to work on expanding it because of how easy it is. Can stun groups. Helpful against enemies, especially Kraven’s hunting thugs. Its expansion skills (SpiderShock Overload) Will also improve shock’s effectiveness, allowing you to hit more targets when using it against groups of enemies.

As soon as I got through my early hours of Spider-Man 2, I immediately started focusing on the mid-combination skill tree, and Lup de Lup is one that immediately caught my eye. The technique of diving during the web swing already gives you a burst of speed, but it will increase the speed even more when you Hold R2 While diving, it will basically increase The speed of your next swing, Making getting through busy NYC streets even faster.

Skill type utility

If you are a skilled player like me and love to use Perfect Dodge from Spider-Man 2018, Then Perfect Dodge Recharge is the best, as it will partially recharge your abilities whenever they are on cooldown.

This is especially useful when you arrive. middle game stages, By then, you’ll soon have access to Peter’s symbiote suit and many other abilities you can assign to both Spider-Man. However, I wouldn’t say it’s as important as the other best Spider-Man 2 skills featured in my guide, so it comes down to that. Personal preference for combat If you want to buy Perfect Dodge Recharge.

8. Amped

Amped will give you bonus focus generation for blocking enemy attacks. I liked the addition of the parrying system introduced in Spider-Man 2 because it offered Risk reward play style, Especially if you’re playing on higher odds like me.

Generating bonus focus will allow you to get finishers and heal yourself easily during dangerous moments like boss fights and other combat scenarios. Additionally, the benefits provided by the Amped skill can also force you to use it. Parrying as a counter attack More often than not a perfect dodge.

7. Biosiphon

Skill type Aggressive

The Biosiphon skill is pretty straightforward, as it will allow you to slightly recharge Miles’ abilities when you kill enemies while they’re poisoned. If you don’t already know, Venom Stun is applied to targets using Miles’ venom abilities, such as Venom Dash and Jump. I personally use these abilities a lot when playing as him due to their versatility, so reducing their overall cooldown with Bio-Siphon is pretty useful if you ask me.

6. Venom Dash Double Dash

Skill type Aggressive

Venom Dash is easily one of my favorite skills. In Spider-Man, what makes Miles my favorite character to use gameplay-wise is when he charges at his target and throws him across the surface. Venom Dash Double Dash allows you to follow up this attack with another Venom Dash on a nearby enemy.

Miles’ powers are already super fun to use, especially iCrowd control scenarios for me, So Venom Dash Double Dash immediately piqued my interest to get it into my current playthrough sooner or later to increase its viability.

5. Air sweep

Airsweep is likely one of them. Essential skills On this list because it allows you to dodge behind an enemy during an air combo, especially useful when trying to dodge bullets or other projectiles in the air. Circling behind your target in the air will ensure safety when chaining your combos into serious encounters.

I find airsweep quite helpful from this point on to fantastic difficulty. Snipers and bolt shooting enemies Relentless in my attacks, I can safely dodge behind my hovering target instead of trying to dodge during mid-air engagements.

Gadget resupply is great if you like using them ( Dual Sense controller) in combat. Talent gives you. 1 recharge of any gadget For performing a successful finisher on an enemy, I found it extremely useful for mid-game battles in Spider-Man 2, but again, if you’re not too keen on its usefulness, feel free to pick up something else. take Better suited to your play style.

3. Spider Dash/Jump

Skill type Traversal

I’ve listed two skills here because both serve the same functions for the two Spider-Mans in the game, as these skills allow you to suppress. L1 + X on your controller Charging forward at high speed using web wings while web swinging or gliding.

This is easily the best skill in the shared tree if you ask me. Early to mid game To move around the city faster because fast travel is disabled unless you quickly complete the districts.

2. Air escape

Aerial Escapades is the expansion skill for Spider-Dash and Jump, as this skill allows you to recharge your dash and jump abilities for both characters. Acrobatics, point launching, going through wind tunnels, corner tethering, and diving. This means you’ll be able to use the abilities mentioned above more often when you’re web-swinging or gliding.

1. Combo resupply

Finally, this brings me to Combo Resupply, which I personally found to be ideal for my playstyle as I primarily use combos in the game with both Spider-Man’s occasional abilities. The skill allows you to have a chance at the end of 4 hit combos. Use freely without using gadgets, A simple skill but one that benefited me the most in my playthrough of Spider-Man 2.

My opinion on these best skills

My progress on Spider-Man 2 PS5 (Image taken by us)

As someone with over 10+ hours into Spider-Man 2 right now (PSN ID: Liontamer55460) I found Spider-Dash/Jump, along with Air Swap, to be my favorite choices for being able to improve your combat and traversal ability. I’m a big fan of Insomniac’s web swing mechanics in this game, so focusing on improving traversal using skills was my main goal from the start.
