Sonic Team recently announced that Sonic Frontiers is getting a free Christmas DLC that can be claimed right now.
A new free update for the Sonic Frontiers game is now available to download. Fans will be able to dress up Sonic with a Christmas-themed outfit that he can wear while zipping across lands in the game. This will be the last DLC for this year.
The outfit is called the Holiday Cheer Suit and features a Santa hat and jacket, making him look like Santa. gave Official Twitter account Shows Sonic the Hedgehog wearing a Sonic costume. It doesn’t affect his stats because it’s just a cosmetic skin for Blue Blur.
This isn’t the first time the Sonic franchise has created holiday-themed celebratory content. Various artworks were posted on the official Sonic Channel for fans to see, such as Blaze the Cat or Silver the Hedgehog dressed up for the holidays.
Sonic Frontiers is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
