The Auto-9 weapon is the best weapon in RoboCop Rogue City, there is no doubt about it. But we can make the old reliable ones even stronger through PCB boards. In this guide I will tell you where you can find all the PCB boards in the game and what they offer you in terms of firepower.

You first gain access to the PCB boards at the beginning of the Mandatory Assessment main quest. These plates allow you to change the nature of the Auto-9 in order to adapt it as the situation requires. Or you can decide to go for the highest DPS and ignore everything else. Everything is alright.

How to change PCB boards in RoboCop Rogue City

You won’t be able to see which board you have equipped until you get the second board. You will only see the board name once you have purchased your second board. When you do, the ‘CHANGE BOARD’ will appear and that’s when you can swap boards at will.

It should be noted that the upgrade chips you apply remain on the current board. If you want to transfer to the board, you will need to press the ‘RESET’ button and take out all the tokens. Additionally, the ENGINEERING skill directly affects the quality of the tokens you collect. But it does not affect the tokens you currently have in your possession.

RoboCop Rogue City Omni Board List

There are 10 Omni boards to find at various points in the story. You will most likely overlook them as they are conveniently located in areas where the mission objectives will be. But it’s still possible to miss them if you’re not paying attention.

Omni Board – Level 2.0

Location: Police station holding cell. Tutorial board.

Chipset:

  • 2x weapon damage
  • 1x charger capacity
  • 1x weapon extension
  • 1x reload speed
  • 1x armor piercing
  • -5% penalty (full board access)
  • Full automatic mode: fires bullets continuously when the trigger is pulled
  • Gore Mode: Increases the volume of gore visual effects.

Comments: This board offers general buffs with an emphasis on raw damage. Fully automatic is the key feature.

Omni Board – Level 3.1

Chipset:

  • 3x weapon damage
  • 2x magazine capacity
  • 1x weapon extension
  • 1x reload speed
  • 2x armor piercing
  • -10% penalty (full board access)
  • Massive Damage: Increases damage dealt; no critical hits
  • Single Shot Mode: Fires one round at a time; causes a lot of damage

Comments: Hand cannon board. It hits hard, but the loss of critical hits means that no matter where you shoot, it deals the same amount of damage. Slow shooting speed.

Omni Board – Level 3.3

Location: Found on a desk in the middle of the drug supply room during the Steel Factory’s unwanted goods secondary objective.

Chipset:

  • 4x weapon damage
  • 1x charger capacity
  • 2x weapon scatter
  • 1x reload speed
  • More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.
  • Automatic feeder: automatic ammunition feeder; no need to recharge
  • Pellet Rounds: Some rounds can split and do more damage at close range.

Comments: Hits incredibly hard against unarmed enemies. The automatic ammo feeder is the key feature. Can potentially fight armored enemies.

Omni Board – Level 4.2

Location: OCP container inside the secret Steel Mill area.

Chipset:

  • 4x weapon damage
  • 2x magazine capacity
  • 1x weapon extension
  • 2x reload speed
  • 1x armor piercing
  • -10% penalty (full board access)
  • Laser focus: reduces spread; improving precision
  • Piercer: Armor-piercing bullets improve effectiveness against armored enemies
  • More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.

Comments: High damage deck with improved accuracy for longer range engagements. You can have armor-piercing rounds, but they cost -10% total.

Omni Board – Level 3.2

Location: Police station. Salvaged from the wreckage of the malfunctioning ED-209.

Chipset:

  • 2x weapon damage
  • 1x charger capacity
  • 2x weapon scatter
  • 3x reload speed
  • 1x armor piercing
  • Piercer: Armor-piercing bullets improve effectiveness against armored enemies
  • Full automatic mode: fires bullets continuously when the trigger is pulled

Comments: Improved version of the tutorial board. The automatic mode is the key feature along with armor piercing rounds. Solid Omni board.

Omni Board – Level 4.3

Location: On the kitchen counter of apartment 12 during the investigation portion of the Domestic Terrorist sub-mission.

Chipset:

  • 4x weapon damage
  • 2x magazine capacity
  • 1x weapon extension
  • 3x reload speed
  • 1x armor piercing
  • -40% penalty (full board access)
  • More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.
  • Massive Damage: Increases damage dealt; no critical hits
  • Laser focus: reduces spread; improving precision
  • Full automatic mode: fires bullets continuously when the trigger is pulled

Comments: Board of specialists. Too harmful to opt for access to full board. It is better to choose Massive Damage or Laser Focus. -40% will make the Auto-9 difficult to handle.

Omni Board – Level 4.1

Location: Police station. High-tech briefcase next to the evaluation chair. Optional objective for the mission “Return to the starting point”.

Chipset:

  • 4x weapon damage
  • 2x magazine capacity
  • 1x weapon extension
  • 2x reload speed
  • 1x armor piercing
  • Single Shot Mode: Fires one round at a time; causes a lot of damage
  • Pellet Rounds: Some rounds can split and do more damage at close range.
  • More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.

Comments: Omniboard upgraded hand cannon. Better in every way compared to the previous board.

Omni Plate – Level 5.2

Location: OCP Correctional Facility. Cell Block B. Second floor checkpoint towards guard post.

Chipset:

  • 2x weapon damage
  • 4x magazine capacity
  • 1x weapon extension
  • 2x reload speed
  • 2x armor piercing
  • More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.
  • Single Shot Mode: Fires one round at a time; causes a lot of damage
  • Doom Doom Rounds: Some rounds can explode causing more damage
  • Pellet Rounds: Some rounds can split and do more damage at close range.

Comments: One-shot board featuring Doom Doom Rounds. The explosions are a novelty. Inconsistent at best. The main draw here is the high magazine capacity, plus the above-average armor piercing potential.

Omni Plate – Level 5.3

Location: Found in the secret room at the end of the “Who Killed Simon Page” sub-quest.

Chipset:

  • 3x weapon damage
  • 3x magazine capacity
  • 2x weapon spread
  • 2x reload speed
  • 2x armor piercing
  • -30% penalty (full board access)
  • Laser focus – reduces dispersion and improves precision
  • Automatic feeder: automatic ammunition feeder, no need to reload
  • Full automatic mode: fires bullets continuously when the trigger is pulled
  • More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.

Comments: Updated Specialist Dashboard. Since Auto Feeder is present, there is no need to invest in reload speed stats. It has the potential to be a good all-rounder even at longer distances if you give up More Gore and fully automatic mode.

Omni Plate – Level 5.1

Location: It is located at the end of the long table inside the OCP conference room. OCP Headquarters when you are about to arrest the Old Man.

Chipset:

  • 5x weapon damage
  • 1x charger capacity
  • 3x Weapon Extension
  • 3x reload speed
  • Doom Doom Rounds: Some rounds can explode causing more damage
  • More Gore: Increase the volume of gore visuals.
  • Automatic feeder: automatic ammunition feeder, no need to reload
  • Piercer: Armor-piercing bullets improve effectiveness against armored enemies

Comments: The best table in terms of raw damage. The only drawback is that it is ineffective against armored enemies, except for the Piercer chip. Secretly very strong against the final boss by shooting his weak point. (May require high combat skill.)

And that’s it for this PCB board guide for RoboCop Rogue City. The Auto-9 upgrades are an interesting addition to the game. It’s one of the reasons why the gameplay is deeper than you’d expect from a RoboCop game, as I point out in my review.
