It has recently been announced that the legendary top-down shooter Raiden III will return with its latest incarnation, Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX. Allowing customization of wallpapers, music, and gameplay allows players to experience this legendary, high-octane top-down shooter in more ways than ever before!
Developed by MOSS Co. as well as being published by Nippon Ichi Software America and scheduled for a summer 2023 release in the West, shooter fans will have something really good to look forward to.
This title should be a lot more fun to run 1CC than Raiden IV, and I hope we get a lot of crossover characters from the Raiden Fighters series considering the various gameplay options they offer, for those who buy it for the PlayStation. 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam).
Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX seems to be taking the shape of being an explosive shooter considering its original incarnation is already pretty good on its own, with spin-offs like Raiden Fighters not included for ease but not quite as heavy as Raiden IV. : EXCESSIVE. Seibu Kaihatsu was the original creator and is still fondly remembered for creating the series that now lives on long after they left.
Looks like this is another entitlement to my wishlist on Steam and I plan on deleting it with just one credit. Kind of wishing they would finally include other fighters like the ones that appeared in the Raiden Fighters series to give players and fans a complete package that comes across as a love letter, but that’s just me as a long time fan.
Raiden III x MIKADO MANIAX will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this summer.
