Sundress will be coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet through a special Tera Raid event where players can battle the Pokémon in its powerful 7-Star Tera form. Like the previous 7-Star Charizard, this sundress will test the trainers’ skills and prepare to see who can defeat them in battle.

In this guide, we’ll talk about the 7-Star Sundress Tera Raid Battle event, as well as what Sundress’ strengths and weaknesses are, and share some Pokemon builds that will make it through the battle. I can help.

This guide is a work in progress. Information such as the moves and abilities are the closest guesses based on Cinderace's existing data. Additional information will be added once they become available.

7-Star Sundress Stats

After being ranked as a 7-star Tera Pokémon, Cinderace will be at level 100 with all of her stats at perfect IV, with her speed stat at a possible maximum of 370 points. It will use Fighting Terra Power throughout the fight.

Sundress moves:

Sundress can have the following moves for this match, including her two signature moves:

  • Pyroball
  • Change of court
  • Your blast
  • Iron head
  • Sucker punch
  • Hello Jump Cook
  • Flame charge
  • Will-o-wisp
  • Dance of swords

Sundress Capabilities:

The sundress can be either hers or his. Blaze Ability or not? Libra hidden ability.

If it really has Libero as an ability, it may be able to override its Fighting Terra type if it uses other non-fighting type attacks, but only for one move in the entire battle. . Otherwise, the Libero will have no effect.

7-Star Sundress makes the top Pokemon to compete.

Below are just a few of the Pokemon that can be an effective counter to defeating the 7-Star Sundress.

  • Izomaril
  • Charizard
  • Dragonite
  • Sylveon
  • Allow to flutter
  • Armarouge
  • Ceruledge

Construction of Izomaril:

  • Abilities: Great strength
  • Hold Item: Shell Bull
  • Your Type: Fairy
  • Max Stat: HP / Atk
  • Movements:
    • Play rough
    • Belly drum
    • Rain dance
    • tickling

Azumarill will resist combat moves, but watch out if Sundress changes her court and changes everyone’s stats with hers. A similar strategy can be made, first setting up with a belly drum, then dealing damage with a play roof.

Charizard Construction:

  • Abilities: Blaze
  • Ingredient: Citrus berry
  • Your Type: Flight
  • Max Stat: HP / Atk
  • Movements:
    • Acrobatics
    • Belly drum
    • Fire punch
    • Evil claws

If you managed to get a 7-star Charizard, you can change its Tera type to Flying to be resistant to Fighting Attack and STAB damage for Flying Attack. Place a Citrus Berry next to him that will be eaten after the Belly Drum, making his Acrobatics deal 4x Sundress damage.

Construction of Dragonite:

  • Ability: Multiscale
  • Item Held: Damp Rock
  • Your Type: Flight
  • Max Stat: HP/SP Atk
  • Movements:
    • sea storm
    • Rain dance
    • Air Slash
    • Roast

Dragonite works best if there is a support on the team that puts his health at the top to multiscale proc, otherwise Roost can help heal. Perform a rain dance first to increase hurricane damage.

Construction of Sylvan:

  • Ability: Pixelate
  • Item Held: Expert Belt
  • Your Type: Fairy
  • Max Stat: HP/SP Atk
  • Movements:
    • Hyper beam
    • To reflect
    • Fake tears
    • Calm mind

Depending on your team composition, you may want to cast Reflect first, then either Calm Mind or Fake Tears. Finish off with Hyper Beam and be ready to tank next turn or cheer someone up to heal.

Construction of filter mane:

  • Abilities: Protosynthesis
  • Hold Item: Expert Belt / Booster Energy / Secret Cloak
  • Your Type: Fairy
  • Max Stat: HP/SP Atk
  • Movements:
    • Moon Blast
    • Draining Kiss
    • Calm mind
    • Fake tears

Flutter Mane will be relatively safe against fighting-type moves while still being effective with his fairy-type moves. An Expert Belt or Booster Energy can be used for an all-out offensive build, or swapped out with a Covert Cloak for a slightly more defensive build.

Armarouge construction:

  • Abilities: Flash Fire
  • Hold Item: Expert Belt / Shell Bell
  • Your Type: Psychic
  • Max Stat: HP/SP Atk
  • Movements:
    • Psychic
    • Truck room
    • Calm mind
    • To reflect

Armarouge’s Flash Fire should make him immune to any fire-type moves, while his psychic type makes him resistant to fighting moves. Due to her being extremely resistant, she should allow Armarouge to set up her truckroom for everyone on the team and still be able to deal a lot of damage. It can be converted into a more aggressive build by using Psychic Terrain and Expanding Force instead.

Construction of Ceruledge:

  • Abilities: Flash Fire
  • Item Held: Expert Belt
  • Your Type: Psychic
  • Max Stat: HP / Atk
  • Movements:
    • Psycho Kit
    • Bitter Blade
    • Dance of swords
    • Bulk up

Because of Ceruledge’s immunity to fighting and fire moves, he’ll have plenty of time to Swords Dance and Bulk Up before going for Psycho Cut. Best paired with someone who has psychic territory to maximize damage.
