Astral Eclipse: List of Sun Challenge Pokémon in Pokémon Go

The Astral Eclipse: Sun Challenge is available in Pokémon Go until Monday, November 28 at 8:00 p.m. (local time).

If you want to earn the rewards from this Collection Challenge and add them to your Elite Collectors medal, you must finish them before this deadline or else they will be gone forever.

Here are the Pokemon in Astral Eclipse: Sun Challenge and all of these Pokemon can be found in the wild:

  • Yungoos
  • sunken
  • Cottonee
  • petilil
  • Alolan Vulpix

For completing this collection challenge, you will earn 3000 Stardust.

Astral Eclipse: List of Lunar Challenge Pokémon in Pokémon Go

The Astral Eclipse: Moon Challenge is available in Pokémon Go until Monday, November 28 at 8:00 p.m. (local time).

Astral Eclipse Field Research Tasks in Pokémon Go


Staryu.

You can collect event-exclusive Field Research tasks by spinning PokéStops throughout the Astral Eclipse event in Pokémon Go.

Although these tasks can be completed once the Astral Eclipse event ends, we recommend completing them during the event as they will help you complete the collection challenge above.

Here are the Astral Eclipse Field Research Tasks:

  • Catch 5 Staryu reward – 1000 Stardust
  • Catch 3 Psychic-type Pokémon reward – encounter with Staryu

Arrival of Ultra Beast: global event in Pokémon Go explained

Ultra Beast Arrival: Global Event takes place during the Astral Eclipse event on Sunday, November 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (local time).

This Sunday, Ultra Beasts will be invading raids, and in doing so, provides you with the perfect opportunity to add them to your collection.

However, the Ultra Beasts you can fight depend on your current location, and they will appear in raids in the following regions:


There will also be a timed research quest throughout the event that will focus on Raid Battles and if you complete its tasks, you will have a chance to encounter more Ultra Beasts.

There will also be a number of bonuses during this event, such as an increased chance to earn Rare Candy XL by attending raids in person and earning x1.25 XP by winning an Ultra Beast raid. Spinning a Gym Photo Disc between 11am and 7pm local time will also earn you up to five additional Raid Passes, so you can take part in as many Raids as possible.

Finally, this event is the perfect time to meet up with other trainers, because the following Pokémon will appear around a Gym after you’ve defeated an Ultra Beast:

  • magmar
  • gulpin
  • absolute
  • minccino
  • With ruffles – Woman
  • Dedenne

Currently the Greedy Gluttons event is live, and the arrival of Guzzlord and PokéStops for gold and mystery coins as part of the Season of Light. Elsewhere, be sure to use the Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres.

The Astral Eclipse event greets the arrival of new A Cosmic Companion quest steps in Pokémon Go. To find out what these final challenges are, visit our A Cosmic Companion guide.

If you haven’t claimed this quest yet, we recommend that you do so, because it’s only available until Thursday, December 1 at 9:59 a.m. (local time). All you have to do to claim A Cosmic Companion is log into Pokémon Go!

The Astral Eclipse event is also bringing Solgaleo and Lunala to Pokémon Go! These Gen 7 Legendary Pokémon are the third stage evolutions of Cosmog, and if you want to add them to your Pokédex, visit our how to get Solgaleo and Lunala page.
