Developer Starbreeze Studios and publisher Prime Matter have officially announced Payday 3.
Payday 3 brings back the Payday Gang!
After great success in the gaming market and its very long “life”, Starbreeze Studios has finally decided to announce a new entry in the Payday series. Payday 3 has been confirmed and will be coming to PC via Steam and consoles later this year.

On to the Big Apple!
Based on the latest post on Steam, the members of the Payday gang will still be Dallas, Hoxton, Chainz, and Wolff. The stage is now set in New York City, known as the capital of the world. Fans will be able to learn what made these infamous four bank hesters come back from retirement.
Possible release window?
Payday 2 launched on August 13, 2013, making it 10 years old this year. This would be the perfect time to release the third sequel but what specific date will it launch? Chances are, the official release window will be August 2023, just in time for the anniversary. Think about it: a double celebration of Payday 3’s launch and Payday 2’s big decade anniversary. Kill two birds with one stone.
Coming to Switch?
Also, Starbreeze Studios mentioned that the game is coming to consoles. PlayStation and Xbox would be the obvious choices, but will it be possible for a Nintendo Switch version like its predecessor? who knows Stay tuned!
