Insomniac Games recently released released Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 State of Play trailer featuring new details about gameplay and more.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s latest State of Play trailer reveals the expanded area of New York that Peter Parker and Miles Morales can explore. According to the developers, in this game, the size is almost double that of the original version. It has expanded beyond the East River, where players can explore iconic locations in Queens and Brooklyn. They are complete with story missions, side missions, and town activities to enjoy.
The New York expansion also means there are now better, faster traversal options, such as Web Wings, which allow players to glide to a destination.
Peter Parker and Miles Morales can switch between them almost instantly thanks to the power of the PS5. Each one will have their own parallel stories to discover.
Kraven the Hunter and Venom have now teamed up to take on the enemies. However, there are other villains to fight, but your job is to protect your city and those who live in it.
In this sequel, the developers have added a new set of skills and abilities for the two heroes, which are Pete’s new Symbiote powers and Spider-Arms. Miles has an electrifying, thunderous quality to his bioelectric poison power with evolved poison abilities.
There are 65 costumes to unlock, including new original designs and fan favorites from endings and comics. This largest gallery of costumes offered fans different ways to enhance their look.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes 10 exclusive costumes, additional career items and 2 skill points. To bring these 10 suits to life, Insomniac partnered with several comic, game and movie artists.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
