Magneto has led a life filled with tragedy. At the end of the X-Men’s Hellfire Gala event in X Factor #10, her surrogate daughter Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, was found dead. Suspiciously, Magneto was nowhere to be found, which led to even more confusion.
