How to find a way into the Lighthouse in The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me

In The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, players begin the game from the perspective of Charlie, one of the playable characters. After arriving at the house at Mr. Du’Met’s request, Charlie and Mark decide to take a photo of the sea from a higher angle. They spot a lighthouse some distance away, and you will need to visit this area. This is how players can find a way to the Lighthouse in The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me.

As Mark and Charlie head towards the lighthouse, they come across several simple obstacles that can be crossed by pressing a few buttons. For example, you have to jump off cliffs, enter a broken prison door, sidewalk down a steep cliff, and even slide down a mountain crevice. There is a significant scare moment when Charlie comes across an old dummy after going through the crevice in the mountain. After reaching the lighthouse, players will notice that the gate is locked and you will need to find an alternate route.

The alternative route is through the railings marked in the image above. Once you slide down the railings, you must crouch down and go through the small opening under the rocks, as shown in the yellow circle in the image above. You will reach the back entrance of the lighthouse and perform a quick QTE to open the door.

After opening the back entrance door of the lighthouse, players will notice a small blue box on the right side of the wooden seats. Inspect the box as Charlie, and use a small pin to open the box. Inside you will find Obols, a currency that can be spent to unlock dioramas. Be sure to collect this item as it will be important later in the game.
