Salandit and Salazzle are a line of Poison and Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon. They also appear in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and can be found quite early in the game. However, you can’t just catch any Salandit and expect to get a Salazzle, as it has a unique evolution method. This may leave you wondering how to evolve Salandit into Salazzle.
How to get Salazzle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To evolve Salandit into Salazzle in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to make sure you catch a female Salandit, as she male Salandits cannot evolve. With a salty womanupload it to level 33, and will evolve into Salazzle. If you have a male Salandit, you will need to box him up and find a female.

The downside is that Salandit has a 87.5 percent opportunity to be male and only one 12.5 percent opportunity to be feminine, the same as the starting odds of Pokémon. This probably means that you will have to meet several Salandits before you find a female. When you come across a female, use status conditions to increase your chances of catching her.
Salazzle has fantastic speed and special attack, making him a good special sweeper. He also has a unique type of Poison and Fire, as well as a special ability, Corrosion, which allows him to poison Steel and Poison-type Pokémon. This makes it a great choice for a Poison-type Pokemon on your team.
