Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is the first mainline open-world Pokémon game to come out of Nintendo. And if other open-world games like Breath of the Wild have anything to say, it’s that there are plenty of walls Y cliffs climb. Unless Koraidon and Miraidon have recovered enough to scale these cliffs, you will never be able to scale them. That is, unless you take advantage of this weird “glitch” that allows you to scale walls by going backwards.
How to climb walls going backwards in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
His left joycon can suffer a bit, but he can scale cliffs by turning Koraidon or Miraidon and going up the cliff. rear wheel first. This is how you can do it.
- Approach the wall or cliff you want to climb. really press the side of your Koraidon or Miraidon bike on the slope.
- While in Koraidon or Miraidon, press B. skip.
- While in the air, quickly turn to Koraidon or Miraidon. You’ll know you’ve succeeded if the rear wheel is the one pointing up.
- Spam B while in this position while tilting the joycon back. If this doesn’t work, he tries to tilt the joycon back only when Koraidon or Miraidon jump and move it forward once they land.

Important note: This “glitch” will only work if the wall you are climbing is inclined. If the wall is too vertical, this method will not work.
It will take some practice, but you’ll be able to climb a ton of unscalable walls early in the game. If you’re on a personal challenge to speed up Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’re more than welcome to try it on your own.
