According to the note, FSR3 combines upscaling technology and frame generation to deliver superior performance. Describing frame generation support, the notice states that it is enabled separately and is available when using AMD Radeon RX 5000 Series, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 Series, and Intel Arc 7 Series or newer GPUs. Settings can be found in the Graphics section of the menu.

Forspoken’s patch 1.22 also fixes an issue with the Steam version of the game. Fixed an error when saving data for the main game in the DLC’s save data slot and an error appearing in the save data slot of the former for saving data for the DLC. Note that this fix only applies to newly created save files.

A known issue has also appeared in the patch notes for version 1.22 of Forspoken. It was discovered that with FSR3 frame generation and VSync enabled, low frame rates at 240Hz and high refresh rates could be experienced on some monitors. To fix the problem, the devs advise players to make sure their graphics drivers are up-to-date. Alternatives include disabling VSync or setting your monitor to a lower refresh rate.
