This is the fourth part of our tour of the Firmament. If you remember, we’ve acquired the two upgrades needed to fully Awaken the Embrace. We are now on our way to the third and final update for your Attachment.

In this step-by-step guide, we’ll tell you how to solve the puzzles that stand between you and the third update. Expect a lot of mechanical manipulation with a bit of luck involved. We are going to the Kingdom of St. Andrew for the third update. To reach the St. Andrew region, you will need to access the world from the Swan. If you’ve been following the guides, you’ll see the name of the destination by looking at the plaque under the transport pods.

Please note that we will not be covering the Swan in this walkthrough guide. The Swan is a hub world, and while the Mentor has a few comments here and there, it isn’t a place of importance until late game.

Saint Andrew Part 1

Welcome to San Andres! This world is much greener than other worlds you have been through. It is also much more attractive. This is the place where many Guardians would rest between waking moments. Now, it’s a silent reminder of better times.

Our goal right now is to get to the Conservatory on top of the seed vaults. We’ll go over the rest once we’re there.

Start by going up the first flight of stairs.

Don’t forget to take a good look at the clipboard with a diagram. This is a hint to solve the next puzzle ahead.

As shown in the diagram above, you will need to add a certain part of the track in the area indicated in the diagram. This task is easier said than done. But that can apply to a lot of things in this realm.

Now, head up the next flight of stairs and up onto the Vault Skiff.

The Vault Skiff is what you will need to access the balcony on the far left of the vaults. The problem here is that you can’t get to the balcony using your skiff. There is a damaged piece of track that needs to be replaced and you cannot access the balcony from your side of the skiff.

Before we fix the broken track, let’s open as many vaults as we can. This is going to help us in the long run, trust us. Search for open vaults and start opening vaults from inside. There are some places where the vines are overgrown. Take whatever path you are given and keep opening vaults to help you create shortcuts.

Once you’ve opened all the vaults you can find, return to the skiff and head straight to the top right of the vaults. Unfortunately, your skiff can’t make it to the crane platform. You’ll need another skiff to cover the distance. Lucky for you, there’s one just below.

You can connect and disconnect trailers when necessary. This will be useful for reaching remote areas. It comes at the cost of needing more free space and therefore being more prone to crashing.

At this point, you can try to open more seed vaults.

If not, you can return to the maintenance area to put the tracks back in place.

With your trailer on the right hand side, bring your skiff to the tow truck access. Once there, go up the ladder and attach your Attachment to the base of the crane car. Then move it across the top as far to the left as you can. You will need to break the connection once the car gets too far away. Just go back down and guide the crane from your skiff until it reaches its destination.

Once the crane trolley is on the far left of the track, switch the mode to Hitch and lower the track until it is in place. If possible, do not let go until the track is snapped securely into place.

Now that you have the track installed, it is now possible to access the balcony. But here is the next problem. You cannot access the balcony from your side of the skiff. You need another trailer on the left side.

This is one of the most difficult puzzles in the game. How do you get to the other side of your skiff so you can fit a trailer on the left side? You use the seed vaults, of course. It’s a good thing you’ve been opening seed vaults from left to right the whole time. This makes the process much easier to do.

To solve this puzzle, you will first need to go to Vault 4A. If you’re in the right place, your mentor will give you plenty of exposure. Go to the back and go down the stairs to the lowest floor. From there, open Vault 1C and then Vault 4C.

At this point you should have two trailers on the right side of your skiff. Park the Vault Skiff in Vault 2C. From your extended trailer, Go through Vault 4C and exit Vault 1C. You can now attach the left skiff to your current setup. do it

Once you have the left skiff attached, go up to the B vaults and begin the process of detaching the skiff on the far right. (As shown above). This will allow you to go to the A vaults from the left side of the skiff. Enter Vault 1B and exit Vault 2B.

Once you’ve removed the extra boat, head back to the left side of the boat and go up and across until you reach the balcony that has the elevator to the Conservatory. Use the elevator to get to the Conservatory.

Walk the grounds and take it all in. You have come a long way on your journey and you are almost halfway through your task. Enter the conservatory through the door on the right.

It is in this location that you will find a transport pod. Connect it to add it to your list of realm locations. Then continue with your exploration.

Later in the conservatory, you will find the place where the Guardians spent most of their rest time. Your mentor included.

Your next objective is to reach the back of the atrium where there is an elevator that will take you to Omnistation and then to the Grand Arch. But here’s the problem, the path to it is blocked. You will have to find an alternate way.

Use the botanical bed risers in the center of the atrium as platforms. This task will require a lot of attention if you are not already familiar with the layout.

Basically, you will move between botanical beds until you reach the other side of the atrium. However, here’s the problem: the botanical beds are not perfectly aligned with where you need to go. You will need to adjust it from a different location.

The only way to rotate botanical beds is to use this plug shown above. This deceptively hidden plug is located at the bottom of the camera. You’ll have to manipulate some botanical bed risers to get that far down.

Continue to rotate the Botanical Beds on Botanical Bed Riser 03 and 04 to align them as shown in the image below. (We’ll let you get there. This puzzle had our heads spinning.)

You finally made it to the other side! Take the elevator down where an Omniwheel is waiting to take you to the Arch. Actually, the Omniwheel is programmed to take you to the Reservoir first. Once there, stay inside the Omniwheel and activate it once more to take you to the Arch.

You know the deal, head upstairs and get to the upgrade machine before anything else.

The final upgrade to his Attachment is called “Force Amplified”. This allows your Attachment to interact with Plugs that require more force. It may be a small detail, but sockets that used to glow yellow now turn green. This is the final key to unlock the Towers.

Open the heavy door and shutters, and lift up the final spire.

Now that you are in possession of all three upgrades. You are ready to Awaken the Embrace in all the Realms.

Let’s start with the Spire in the Realm you are in right now. Saint Andrew.

And that’s the end of part four of our Firmament tour. We hope you find this information useful in some way.
