Chapter 6: The Tour of the Stolen Ring
During Alear’s journey, they run into Yunaka, who at first appears to be missing, but is actually trying to find a ring she lost. Yunaka describes the ring as something she told him about, letting Alear know that she is possibly referring to an emblem ring. Yunaka asks for the group’s help because she says that a thief stole her ring.
Darkness
The thieves have made an abandoned town their base, as there are many hiding places, plus it is very dark at night. Darkness makes it difficult for units to navigate, as it limits their view of what lies ahead.
To combat the darkness, there are braziers you can light along the way. Just walk up to a torch with a unit and use your turn to light it. One of the enemies also carries a torch which they drop once they are defeated. Any unit carrying the torch will have its vision range increased.
Be careful and use units that have good vision like Yunaka and Etie, or tanks like Louis to check out dark areas.
The Stolen Ring Tactics
For this battle, Alear and Yunaka will be separated from the rest of the party as they sneak into the northern part of the map. He defeats the closest enemy first to get Micaiah’s Ring. Micaiah specializes in healing, so he uses his showdown ability in case Alear needs help. You can also use Yunaka to use Micaiah to hit an enemy with her ability, which lights up the target area.
As for the rest of the group, have Louis on the westernmost side and have him lead the way down the middle path while someone like Vander goes the bottom path. Once you get the Torch, it’s best to give it to Louis for a better view ahead.
Your units should be strong enough to deal with the enemies at this point, but if you find it too challenging, try completing the first Paralogue first to gain a few levels.
Recruit Yunaka and meet Veyle
After the fight, Yunaka reveals that she also stole the ring in the first place hoping to sell it for money. Her mind changed from her when she heard Emblem Micaiah talking to her and also decides to join Alear in Somniel.
In the next scene, Alear meets Veyle once more and helps Veyle fix his bandage.
