The Final Fantasy XVI producer is advising fans not to worry about any PC ports of the game and just get the latest line of PlayStation consoles.
A while back, when Final Fantasy XVI was revealed to the world, fans were quick to speculate that the next installment in the Final Fantasy series would be coming to PC at a later time. Their proof was the release of the PC port of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. If it happened to this highly anticipated game, then it could happen to the sequel, right? It seems that is not happening at all.
According to a new statement that was translated by Twitter user Genki_JPN, Yoshi-P quickly denied that there is a PC version of the game. “Why does it seem like a PC version will be released 6 months later?” he asked.
His good advice? Yoshi-P said, “Don’t worry about it, buy a PS5.” Instead of not sleeping about it, it would be better to get the next-gen PlayStation to play FFXVI. Simple.
Do you think a PC version will be released after day one?
Final Fantasy XVI launches on June 22, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
