The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series served as an elixir to revitalize the olden allure of the nostalgic Final Fantasy series, and it seems to have already rolled out two million copies globally since its release. As per the site Gamer, Square Enix has revealed a huge milestone and achieved the cumulative global sales of six titles included in the bundle. Many users have been able to enjoy the remasters across a slew of available platforms.
The Remastered bundle initially launched on the Steam storefront for PC and mobile platforms, leading the charge to dominate the heart of players. Since then, it has also appeared on various consoles to appeal to a large audience. It was rated on ESRB for the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch only a few months ago, leading to rumors that it will arrive on those consoles soon enough. The hunch bore fruits, with pre-orders soon going live.
The entry appeared on the aforesaid consoles only last month and already has garnered a huge audience on the Switch and PS4 platforms. Regardless, The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster has now sold a hefty sum of copies on all platforms to achieve the exorbitant amount. The bundle includes the series’ early entries from Final Fantasy 1 to 6. Moreover, these turn-based battlers have served as a perfect venture for newcomers and veterans alike.
If you are unfamiliar, the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster bundle wallows a new spirit into the nostalgic titles. The remasters alter the pixelized visuals with modern twists, including updated Spell effects that capture a much better visual eye-candy experience than the original SNES versions.
The updated audio also takes you on a joyful adventure unlike anything before. The singing in the bundled games is now fully voiced and translated into seven popular languages, including Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Korean. It is worth noting that the physical edition entries could be purchased either as a bundle or individually for a cheaper alternative. The Steam storefront defines the bundle as follows:
