Square Enix recently revealed that the beloved Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series is officially coming to new platforms beyond the usual Steam and mobile platforms.

There have been many rumors about new platforms for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, and now it’s official. The game collection was confirmed to arrive on PS4 and Nintendo Switch sometime in Spring 2023. The Pixel Remaster will bring back the magic of the original with quality-of-life upgrades while remaining faithful to the retro design.

Players can now join the waiting list to pre-order. Final Fantasy I-VI Collection, a standalone physical edition. It will only be in limited quantities and exclusive to the Square Enix store.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster FF 35th Anniversary Edition

In addition to confirming the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, Square Enix also revealed the Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster FF35th Anniversary Edition. It will be a physical special edition that fans will want to get their hands on. Check out the content details below:

  • Final Fantasy I-VI Collection.
  • Anniversary Edition Stuff Box.
  • A bonus lenticular sleeve for the game package.
  • A vinyl record set featuring newly arranged game music on 2 records with exclusive cover artwork by Kazuko Shibuya.
  • An exclusive art book featuring Final Fantasy character pixel art.
  • Eight stylized pixel art character figures in window packaging.
