Feed the Children is a part of the Program 3 MK Challenge in The Outlast Trials. In this test, players need to collect the ingredients to prepare. Read on as we go through the tasks to complete the Feed the Children challenge in The Outlast Trials.

The Outlast Trials: Feed the Children MK-Challenge Walkthrough
In this challenge, you will have the task of “feeding” the children inside the cafeteria and you will have to bring the ingredients for this soup. As before, Mother Gooseberry will be making her rounds, just like the other enemies, so keep your eyes peeled.
To get started, head to the cafeteria, approach the huge pot with the soup of the day, and pull the lever to light the burner.
Gather lye for the soup
As the first and only ingredient, you will have to gather five jugs of lye and pour them over the soup. The first jar should be on the nearby table. The rest of the jars can be found in the other parts of the cafeteria. These mugs are heavy and will slow you down while carrying them.
It is recommended to have the Heavy Training prescription unlocked which would help you carry large items without slowing down too much, or you can also get a shot of adrenaline. Also, you can’t hide unless you drop them first; they will not break and will be in the last position you left them.
There are two sides where you can start looking for bleach. For this guide, we will first start looking for the bleach in the chapel.
Head to the right until you come to a flight of stairs. Go up the stairs to reach the chapel. If you see any enemies patrolling the area, try to get them out of there first to make transporting the bleach easier, as there aren’t many hiding places in the chapel.
You can then head to the storage area. Your first objective is to unlock the doors for your exit towards the stairs to get as many paths as possible for your recovery. The storage area is illuminated, so enemies can easily see it; it’s best to have plenty of loop areas so you can slowly but surely bring the lye closer to the pot.
For the other half of the flight, you will come to an open area that leads to the bedrooms and pool area. There are plenty of holes you can slide into to shake enemies out of your way and the rooms are pretty dark so make sure you have enough juice for your glasses. You can also use the outside ledge around the pool to put some distance between you and the enemies, just make sure you don’t let them flank you on either side.
Once you’ve poured all five jugs of lye into the pot, go to the dining room and press the button. This will set off the alarm and make Mother Gooseberry run into your area to chase you.

After the alarm goes off, head back to the shuttle. Press the button to call the shuttle, survive until it arrives, and ride it to complete the challenge.

- poster #1 – This sign can be found near the gate on the other side of the pool.
- Poster #2 – This poster can be found in the hallway near the locker area.
- poster #3 – This poster can be found inside a bathroom within the classroom area.
