EXCLUSIVE: Marvel Introduces the Most Powerful Avenger, Ever


Three teams of superheroes from across time and space come together in Avengers Assemble Alpha, and the mysterious Avenger Prime is at the center of it all.


The most powerful Avenger of all is finally revealed in the next Avengers Assemble Alpha.


CBR has the exclusive preview of the one-shot, which serves as the beginning of the endgame for writer Jason Aaron’s transformative era into Marvel’s foremost superhero team.. The preview shows the mysterious Avenger Prime, previously teased in 2021 Free Comic Book Day Avengers/Hulk #1 – Wearing an Asgardian helmet and looking strangely reminiscent of Thor’s former human host, Donald Blake. After speaking with Mephisto, Avenger Prime whispers “Avengers Assemble” and witnesses Earth’s Mightiest Heroes travel back in time to take on their prehistoric counterparts, also known as the Avengers of 1,000,000 BC.

The true identity of Avenger Prime is a secret set that will be revealed in the next avengers #65, due for a February 2023 release. The hero has been teased as a cosmic force for good residing on a distant world known as God Quarry. Free Comic Book Day Avengers/Hulk #1 revealed Avenger Prime’s silhouette from a distance, showing him sending Deathloks to save various worlds from multiversal threats.

The issue features a main cover by Hitch and Alejandro Sánchez, and variant covers by Mark Brooks, J. Scott Campbell and Sabine Rich, Salvador Larroca and Edgar Delgado, and Steve Skroce and Jim Campbell. avengers assemble alpha hits comic book store shelves on November 30.
