This is your weekly Destiny 2 reset for January 10, 2023. The first Iron Banner of the year is behind us. It looks like Bungie is still trying to recapture the magic that is Eruption. But if you ask the player base, they’ll either like it or hate it. Corny tactics and farming aside, Bungie has something here. He just needs a little more time to develop.

And please give us the ability to strengthen our positions next time. For better or worse, we don’t have to wonder if it was a good idea to let Guardians sit on spawn. Or not.

In any case, we are now at step 46 of the “More Than a Weapon” Season Quest. We’re a couple more weeks away until we see the conclusion of the quest and then we’ll see what Bungie has in store for us ahead of Lightfall.

And finally, for all you armor collectors out there, Bungie has started phasing out pieces of the Arc 3.0 armor for Bright Dust this week.

Destiny 2 Seraph Season Week 5 Story Recap

Another week, and another reason why we must stay the course. Rasputin may have gained a new ability to communicate with us, but he still can’t take control of the WARSAT network directly. So once again, we need to keep doing what we’ve been doing since the start of the season: collecting submind shards.

At the same time, Osiris continues to dig deeper for his lead on Neptune. He is convinced that Rasputin knows something about Nefele’s fortress.

After our usual mission, Elizabeth confides in us that Ana is becoming obsessed with the project. She fears that Ana may be bound to the same path of despair as in other timelines. But she is hopeful that everything will be different this time.

Rasputin, for his part, begins to see himself as humanity’s god of war. A god of war who will protect us from all our enemies. Looks like we’ve seen this movie before. Should we be worried?

Destiny 2 weekly reset time

As always, Destiny 2 weekly reset times are 10AM PDT for folks on the West Coast of the US and 6AM BST for our readers in the UK. And at 2 AM JST the next day for everyone in Japan.

Destiny 2 Weekly Activities for January 10-16, 2023

This week’s highlight is “If you choose to accept it, Part III” and unlocking the fourth column perks for Zero Review. We’ll also get to the Outlaw Overhaul Intrinsic trait. Always a solid lead for PvE and PvP.

Other than that, this week sees us getting a boost in Gambit. It’s another good opportunity to cross the Gambit Veles-X Pulse Rifle Ornament off your list and progress your Seraph Seal a bit further.

Destiny 2 Nightfall this week from January 10 to 16, 2023

This week we return to the Prison of Elders as we take down the rogue Servant in the Guardian of the Nothing Dusk. We still remember the many times we used to fall victim to those speeding trains. “Deer in the headlights” doesn’t begin to cover it.

Dusk Gun This Week

Now that enough weeks have passed, we have a solid understanding of Nightfall’s weapon rotation. With that being said, this week’s Nightfall Featured Drop will be the rerun. Wendigo Heavy Grenade Launcher.

Destiny 2 Crucible Featured Gameplay January 10, 2022

Lord Shaxx has authorized the return of Crack to the Crucible playlist. The real challenge of any Rift match is always timing the right approach to Spark in the middle of the map. Objective-based game modes are always good for shaking things up from the usual PvP activities.

And don’t forget, this is another chance to complete your “Spark Defender” Seasonal Challenge.

Destiny 2 Raid and Dungeon Featured January 10-16, 2022

The second notable foray of the year will be the Last wish. First appearing as the conclusion of the Forsaken storyline, our Guardians go to the Dreaming City and take on Riven and the many other raid bosses.

Still in the City of Dreams, the Shattered Throne Dungeon is this week’s featured content. Journey deep into the corrupted throne world of Queen Mara Sav as we remove the source of the Taken’s domain in place.

As usual, completing this Featured Content will reward you with Pinnacle Gear.

Last Wish Raid Challenges

The summoning ritual – Performed during the encounter with Kalli, the challenge asks you to activate all 9 plates, kill all the knights, and kill all the ogres in between before damaging Kalli.

What witch challenge? – Performed during the Shuro Chi encounter, do not get hit or take damage from Shuro Chi’s Arc Blast.

fight forever – Made during the Morgeth encounter, don’t kill the little Ogres.

Exclude – Made during the Vault encounter, unlock the vault and keep the Might of Riven Knights out of the central room.

Destiny 2 King’s Fall Challenge This Week January 10, 2023

This week’s King’s Fall Challenge is going to be devious robbery. This one takes place during the Warpriest encounter, and asks the raid team to take the “Brand of the Initiate” within seconds of acquiring the “Brand Claimer” buff. Time and communication are what you are going to need.

If you pull this off, you and your raid team will be rewarded with an additional raid chest containing holy loot and some high-stat armor. And if you’ve been following the lead, you need to gild that King’s Killing Seal.
