Gunora’s Ax is the second new weapon added to Iron Banner in Season 19. And while both Gun and Dark Decider can roll with Volt Shot, Gunora’s X seems to be the better weapon for it. It’s also the first shotgun to have a perk so that kind of thing makes it special.
The first thing you should know about this weapon is that it has a high handling stat, which makes sense that this weapon was designed with PvP in mind. Additionally, this weapon has a very low aiming assist cone. It affects both mouse and keyboard and controller. If you compare shotguns to each other, you will notice this a lot.
Gunora’s X Legendary Arc Shotgun
Advantages of Third Column:
- Draw slack
- Threat Detector
- Automatic loading holster
- Surplus
- Hip Fire Grip
- Moving target
The only viable privileges in the third column are Threat Detector, Autoloading Holster, or Moving Target. Gaining a surplus is a fine perk, but the moment you use an ability, you lose a lot of your outgoing ability. However, if you can do something with Slickdraw and Hip-fire Grip, that’s a good thing.
Advantages of Fourth Column:
- Iron Reach
- Snapshot sites
- The opening shot
- The eye of the storm
- Varpal weapon
- Volt shot
Vault Shot is the one you want in the fourth column, even in PvP. It’s kind of situational but once you get the flow for it, it’s really fun. In terms of PvE, there is nothing on the list that matches this perk. The Vorpal weapon is a remote.
For PvP, you’ll want to aim for Opening Shot or Eye of the Storm. The opening shot is king as it gives +20 Aim Assist and +25 Range to the first shot in the match. On the other hand, Eye of the Storm is amazing in the heat of battle, provided you survive long enough to use it.
The Snapshot Sights roll is also fine as it is an accurate slug shotgun.
God Roll
For PvE, here we go again. Volt shot. And this would be a general proposition for either. From what we’ve been told, the Volt Shot multiplier is incredibly high on a shotgun. After the first shot hits the target, we’re looking at a 2x multiplier for damage, which is impressive.
We are connecting with it. Threat Detector Because it increases the reload speed by 55 if an enemy is near you.
Overall, the god role you’re looking for in PvE looks something like this:
- Flute barrel
- Correct rounds
- Threat Detector
- Volt shot
But if you’re not favored by the Iron Lords, any other perks that provide range and reload speed are acceptable. Either Reload speed or Range It will be your preference Masterworks.
For endgame content like Grandmaster Nightfalls and raids, a roll that comes up. Auto-loading holster And Varpal weapon That’s what you’re looking for. First and second privileges do not matter with this roll.
Moving on to PvP, the god roll for this weapon is much less forgiving. You’ll need a few rolls to reach a level that most would consider competitive. First, it will be needed The opening shot To give you that stat ticker at the start of a fight. You may want to connect with him. Moving target Accommodating its quirks when it comes to centering goals.
For a PvP god roll, you’re looking at something in the neighborhood of:
- Full bore barrel
- Correct rounds
- Moving target
- The opening shot
- Range Masterwork
Result:
Gunora’s Ax is a rare all-round slug shotgun that doesn’t come up very often. For PvP, it’s a solid choice but you’ll have to do a bit more to make up for the low aim support stats.
If you’re rocking this weapon in PvE, just know that you’ll have to rock some shotgun mods because you’ll be burning through your ammo reserves even if you know how to save ammo. How to shock.
